Blog 5: My future job.

 

How do I imagine my job in the future? I am an Industrial design student and I don't know exactly how I will work when I get my degree, that is a frequent question that makes me ask my teachers on portfolio courses but it is very difficult to give an answer for me.

The most common options that we have, the designers recent graduates are to work in an agency or Design office to gain experience, but usually with low salaries when we start in the career :(

The other alternative is to work in a freelance way, it's a hard way to work because the designer is not supported by a consolidated or big office and colleagues, but it would be most profitable $ :). Personally I prefer the second way but I have not decided yet.

But if I tell you about my dream job, at this moment I consider two options to my future, both are very different. First, I dream of becoming a Car designer. This job is like work in an office, but with different specialties. Some designers make the clay design, that is sculpt the exterior and interior geometry of the car, but also there are other specialties more similar to work on the desktop.

The other option is to have my own design agency, it's actually the same of any agency but the dream there is to be the boss jajaj. XD
